In Pilaitė, near the Buivydiškės ponds, the real estate company REWO is starting development work on a new residential housing project. It will consist of apartments with separate entrances and private yards, as well as low-rise, 3-level apartment buildings that meet the needs of young people and young families. The area under development covers 2.5 hectares.
While planning the development of this area, REWO is continuing the construction of a new concept of housing that began in Lithuania several years ago, where each apartment has a separate entrance from the outside, its own yard, and functional planning. The apartments with courtyards will be two-level, with two types available – 3 rooms, 58 sqm, and 4 rooms, 75 sqm. The neighborhood will feature not only apartments with patios, but also small, 3-level apartment buildings with 1-4 rooms ranging from 28 sqm to 71 sqm. According to the developer, the apartments in this location should be affordable and attractive to young people who are buying their first home, want to live closer to nature, and have good connections to the city center. Here, they will have a forest, Buivydiškės ponds, the Western Bypass, and the Vilnius Outlet shopping center in their neighborhood.
The company expects to receive a building permit in the summer of next year. The investment in the modern architecture, A+ energy class houses and landscaped grounds is planned to be 13.3 million euros. The developers expect to complete the project within two years.
84 units of apartments with private yards and 96 other apartments will be built. A total of 24 buildings.
Another unique feature of the project is that its inner courtyard will offer future residents a social space – a generously landscaped 20-acre park with integrated children's playgrounds and areas for neighbors to enjoy picnics.
